Media Literacy: A Timely Topic in Today's Expanding Information Age!
Welcome to the C.M.L.P! This web page is designed to:
- help teachers, students, parents, and the public become more knowledgeable
about the impact of today's mass media upon our thinking, values, and actions
- serve as an important link to on-line sites of ML programs and resources
throughout Connecticut, the United States, and internationally
- help locate key media literacy teaching materials in print and non-print
forms, including easily downloadable lesson plans and activities for study
by all ages
- present up-to-date information on new and recurring ML issues and
trends
- suggest timely, meaningful ML activities for school and home
